Terms of Use

Pocket Vows helps you write, polish, rehearse, and print your wedding vows. By using the app or the website (pocketvows.com), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Pocket Vows.

Your words are yours

Everything you write in Pocket Vows belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your vows, drafts, ideas, or notes, and we never sell them, publish them, or use them to train any model. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

Accounts

An account is optional and exists to back up and sync your writing. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from the account menu in the app.

Purchases

Pocket Vows Premium is a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks the co-writer. On iOS it is purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system and is also subject to Apple’s standard terms. On the web it is purchased through our payment partners (RevenueCat and Stripe). Premium is tied to your account, so one purchase works on every device you sign in to. Prices are shown before you buy and may change for future purchasers; your lifetime purchase never expires.

Refunds

Purchases made on iOS are refunded through Apple, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Purchases made on the web come with a 30-day love-your-vows guarantee: if Premium isn’t right for you, email us at the address below within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

The co-writer

The co-writer (powered by AI) is a writing aid, not the author. Suggestions are generated by a machine and can be imperfect; you decide what makes it into your vows. When you use the co-writer, the text you’re working on is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

Fair use

Don’t misuse Pocket Vows: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, no using the co-writer to generate content that is unlawful or harms others, and no reselling access. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

The service, as-is

We work hard to keep Pocket Vows reliable, but it is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the total amount you paid us for the service. Always keep your own copy of your vows before the big day, the Print stage makes that easy.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll update this page and revise the effective date above. Continuing to use Pocket Vows after a change means you accept the updated terms.
